2023–2024 Season
The BRO built immense momentum in the 2023-’24 season under Music Director Dr. Milton Crotts. In his final year on the podium, we performed for 1,700+ music lovers at our concerts, which spanned 7 diverse venues in three counties of Western North Carolina. Our volunteer orchestra engaged joyful audiences through partnerships with North Carolina local non-profits and 21 businesses. We collaborated with UNC Greensboro’s Opera Theatre, Fancy and The Gentlemen, Seth Walker and The Walker Family Band, and Franklin Keel. This rotation of Americana, Irish, Honky-tonk, Blues, Popular, and Classical genres challenged and inspired listeners of all ages.

2022–2023 Season
Many thanks to all our loyal friends and followers for their support of the BRO throughout its 2022-2023 season. You have shown faithfulness to our mission as we continue to provide accessible, quality, live orchestral music to Western North Carolina. Our audiences have grown this season as we entertained approximately 2,000 patrons across 5 programs! From UNC Asheville to the Governor's Western Residence, Haywood Community College, and the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts, the BRO has carried its talents far and wide. We have partnered with incredible artists along the way: Asheville's local string studio for youth, UNC Greensboro's Opera Theatre (courtesy of Theatre Director David Holley), Fancy and the Gentlemen, Guest Conductor and Violist, Emily Schaad, and Violinist, Rachel Handman... not to mention many of BRO's own finest musicians and soloists.

2021–2022 Season
Many thanks to all our loyal friends and followers for their support of the BRO throughout its 2021–2022 season. In 2021, we were able to honor essential workers in our Heroes Among Us performance, and feature the amazing Krüger Brothers in our sold-out Revels! 2021 program! Although our Northern Lights and Symphonic Reflections programs were delayed due to COVID concerns, they were highly successful due to your incredibly enthusiastic and loyal support!
Your generosity has allowed our orchestra to evolve and thrive in uncertain times, continuing and building upon a tradition of sharing fine orchestral music with the WNC community. Our audiences grow with each concert, as does our musical reputation, and we are more than grateful for your contribution to our success.
