BRO Revels! 2018
2017’s Revels is an exciting blend of traditional and contemporary music, with something for everyone. Sing along to beloved carols! Hear the dances from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, "Carol of the Bells" featuring Carolina Day School student Zaria Joyner on electric guitar, and lots of holiday favorites including (of course!) Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride."
Mendelssohn's Dream
In the first full-orchestra concert of the 2017-18 season, the Blue Ridge Orchestra presents selections from Mendelssohn's "Midsummer Night's Dream," and the Finale from his "Reformation Symphony," as well as Vivaldi's "Concerto for Four Violins," featuring solos by some of the orchestra's finest violinists.
