Finding Home
Finding Home
The Blue Ridge Orchestra ushered in its 25th Anniversary Season with"Finding Home" on December 7th and 8th. Patrons experienced the magic of inner cities, faraway destinations, and the familiarity of home in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. This concert included Mason’s Inner City Rhapsody, Copland’s Letter from Home, Gershwin’s American in Paris, and Holiday Favorites! We were proud to feature renowned baritone Isaiah Feken. We partnered with Haywood Community College on Saturday for their Hurricane relief fundraiser and returned to UNC Asheville on Sunday. Words cannot express how thankful we are for the leadership of Music Director, Dr. Emily Mariko Eng, BRO's talented musicians, staff, volunteers, and concert sponsor, Mosaic Community Lifestyle Realty. With full hearts and nourished souls, we are #WNCStrong. Photography by Kathy Kmonicek
